The Murphy Oil Company suffered a major release of crude oil because of events related Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Boston Chemical Data Corp. works on behalf of the plaintiffs in the related class action lawsuit. Boston Chemical Data led and performed sampling efforts, monitoring well installation, and site surveys in St. Bernard Parish, LA from October 2005 to September 2006. Sampling and testing was done on air, soils, sediments, groundwaters, soil gases and other materials. Boston Chemical Data also participated in court appearances, onsite surveys at the Murphy Oil Co. refinery, and in related negotiations.
